The knowledge and skill required of an effective early care and education professional have increased as science has revealed more about the capacities of young children, how they learn best, and the importance of early learning for later school success. Continued professional development helps early care and education professionals provide developmentally appropriate care and activities for children.
Child & Family Resources Early Education Professional Development Programs are designed to support professional development and improve the quality of early childhood and school-age programs. Child & Family Resources is committed to providing high quality offerings aligned with national credentialing associations and state standards.
Instructors are highly qualified, experienced, and registered with the New Jersey Child Care Information Approval System as well as maintain a minimum of 20 hours of continued professional development annually.
As an IACET Accredited Provider, (Child & Family Resources offers IACET CEUs
for its learning events that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard.
These workshops are conveniently presented at your location, during a time which best meets your needs. You can schedule an hour during lunch, an hour and a half staff meeting, or a two-hour evening presentation. You decide!

New Jersey Child Care Information System allows early childhood and school-age professionals to maintain a record of their experience, education, professional development and credentials in a central location. Additionally, it provides the workforce access to professional development resources, information and training opportunities. All providers are required to register!
NJCCIS is an integrated child care information system, for both the Department of Children and Families, Office of Licensing, and the Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development. NJCCIS provides a single point of access to information on child care licensing, family child care registration, inspections, and complaint information – as well as Grow NJ Kids and other quality initiatives.
