HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENT UPDATES
The purpose of this Instruction is to establish and clarify policies and procedures for the Child Care Assistance Program concerning the following matters of health and safety: (1) the disposal of bio-contaminants; (2) food and allergic reactions; (3) pediatric first aid and CPR; and (4) the grace period for immunizations.

Phase 1 Retention Grant Available through January 14, 2022 – Phase 1 Hiring Grant Coming Spring 2022.
This grant provides $1,000 bonus payments to help recruit new staff into the child care workforce and to reward and retain current staff. Child care providers (licensed centers and registered family child care) can apply for this grant by logging into your NJCCIS account and navigating to Grants from their Quicklinks panel.
